I should take a moment to clarify why I'm considering a coordinator rather than hiring a wedding planner. Simple. Planners cost thousands of dollars - plus the base cost of food, decorations, etc. I and my fiancé would much rather deal with the stress of planning than loose cash on that scale. Granted, if Wm weren't into details and didn't take half the load of planning, oh, totally, hand the cash over immediately. Wm's been great about working with details and being proactive in planning. So far we're doing a pretty good job balancing the planning between the two of us, so no planner is necessary.
